Booking the house
To book the house for a holiday by the sea, just let us know the dates you would like to come and how many people will be staying. We'll then get back to you to confirm availability and a payment plan. Our prices include the cleaning and booking fee (for comparison with AirBnB!)
The nightly rates for the house are:-
Low season - £190/night
From the end of October half-term up to the Easter holidays (excluding Xmas and New Year).
Mid season - £230/night
Through the Easter holidays and up to May half term, then from the end of the summer holidays up to and including October half-term, plus the Christmas and New Year break.
High season - £260/night
From May half term through to the end of the summer holidays.
At low and mid season, if you book for a full week, the last night will be half-price.
Booking the art classes
To add art classes to your holiday just let us know what you're looking for and we'll work out a bespoke price for you. We understand, however, that you might want some sense of what that might cost beforehand.
So, to give an example, we offer a set package bolt-on to the the house rental at £495. This includes two lessons for up to six people (the house capacity), with each lesson running for two hours.
This price is for ALL students. It is NOT a per person price. It also covers the artist tutor, the materials, and the venue hire. It covers classes in watercolour, acrylic or sketching, but not the life drawing option where a model fee is required (though this is available under the bespoke pricing). We can also arrange oil painting classes should you wish, but the transport of wet paintings or allowing sufficient time for them to dry must be factored in.````
The booking process
Booking Enquiry
Tell us the dates you want to stay, how many people will be coming. If you want art classes, let us know the number and type you would like - plus any other preferences you want to mention.
Artist Enquiry
If looking for an art holiday, we will then block off the house for these dates whilst we confirm availability with the artists and the venues.
Price Offer
We will let you know the full cost of your preferred options, for the house rental and any art holiday bolt-ons. If there are any reasons your full list cannot be accommodated, we will also let you know at this point.
Offer Acceptance
If you wish to proceed a deposit will be required to secure your spot. The cancellation options vary depending on the combination of house and art options you choose and how close it is to your art holiday start date, but these will be set out for you in the price offer along with the required staged payments.
